ArrangementJust a realization that I had recently. All the tech in the world won't fix a poorly arranged tune. I've noticed that when I'm mixing my own stuff, I often end up hooking the guitar back up or turning the phantom power back on to my vocal microphone. Placing another guitar track, fixing an existing one, etc., is sometimes the thing to do. Don't get me wrong, tech has its place. I edit out some of the "oops" in the tunes, but the actual music as a whole has to be in place.
